Inked Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Inked handles information in the current iPhone app.

Inked is a single-user material sample log. It is designed for local sample records, surface notes, comparison boards, and optional voice notes.

1. Information You Create

You may create material sample photos, imported images, sample names, material and tool selections, set-time values, texture markers, typed notes, comparison boards, and optional voice notes.

2. Device Permissions

Camera access is used to take a material sample photo.
Photo Library access is used to import an existing sample image.
Microphone access is used to record an optional voice note.
Notifications are requested through the Apple system prompt after entry.
App Tracking Transparency is requested through the Apple system prompt after entry.

3. How Information Is Used

Information is used to save and display your samples, organize recent records, compare two samples on a board, prepare exports, process credit purchases, and keep the local account available on the device.

4. Purchases

Consumable credit purchases are processed by Apple. Inked stores the local credit balance needed for optional voice note saves and full-size board exports.

5. Storage and Retention

Sample records, boards, voice notes, and local account information are stored on the device unless you clear data, delete the local account, or remove the app.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

Inked is designed for individual local records. Information may be disclosed only when needed for Apple purchase processing, support you request, legal compliance, or app operation.

7. Your Controls

You can log out, clear data, delete the local account, manage permissions in iOS Settings, and decide whether to allow notifications or tracking.
